What are program registered contractors?

Program registered contractors are trained in industry best practices. They also take Better Homes program training and must show that they can meet the requirements of our programs.

You must use a program registered contractor for all Energy Savings Program upgrades.

Most Home Renovation Rebate Program upgrades must use a program registered contractor. It is recommended but not required for window and door upgrades.

They are not affiliated with or endorsed by CleanBC Better Homes, FortisBC, BC Hydro or the Home Performance Stakeholder Council in any way. The quality of their work is not guaranteed. EnerGuide assessments

EnerGuide assessments are done in your home by a program qualified energy advisor. They test the air tightness of your home and model your home energy use. An EnerGuide assessment is required for some Better Homes add-on rebates.
