Program-qualified energy advisors

Program qualified energy advisors are registered with the EnerGuide Rating System and licensed through Natural Resources Canada. They have completed additional B.C. rebate program orientation training. Some Home Renovation Rebate Program add-on rebates require you to get an EnerGuide assessment. They test the air tightness of your home and model your home energy use. When you’re deciding between many upgrades, an EnerGuide assessment can help you focus and plan.

Registered contractors

Choosing the right contractor is the first step towards a successful home energy upgrade. Program registered contractors are trained in industry best practices. They also take Better Homes program training and must show that they can meet the requirements of our programs.
