The Town of Sidney is offering a $350 top-up to CleanBC Better Homes and Home Renovation Rebate Program participants that switch from a fossil fuel (oil, natural gas, or propane) water heating system to an electric heat pump water heater. This municipal offer is in addition to the heat pump water heater rebates currently available through the CleanBC Better Homes and Home Renovation Rebate Program.

You must be a resident within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Sidney
The application must be submitted within 6 months of the invoice date of the heat pump water heater installation.
You must fulfill the eligibility requirements of the electric heat pump water heater rebate.

Important: Municipal top-up rebates are limited, subject to funding availability, and approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to program volumes, we cannot guarantee municipal top-ups will be available to homeowners.

Please Note: No additional application is required for the municipal top-up. The top-up will be added to your rebate payment if you are in the participating municipality.
