What about people who are currently registered for the CleanBC Better Homes Income Qualified Program? Will they be transitioned to new levels of support?

Individuals who have already received an eligibility code for the CleanBC Better Homes Income Qualified Program or registered before June 17, 2024, will not be eligible for the new funding levels under the Better Homes Energy Savings Program, unless participants reapply and meet offer requirements effective on June 18, 2024.

Note that households need to be approved in the program and have an “Energy Savings Program eligibility code” before proceeding with the installation of any measures and must use an approved program contractor.
